K-pop fans are in for a thrilling October as several acts head to the Philippines for concerts and other special events.
XLOV, the rookie K-pop act which has garnered attention for their gender-neutral concept, will open the momth with mall shows at Robinsons Las Piñas on October 1 and at Market! Market! in Taguig on October 2.
On October 4, long-running K-pop boy band Super Junior—known for hits such as "Sorry, Sorry" and "Mr. Simple"—will take the stage at the Mall of Asia Arena as part of their "Super Show 10" tour, which celebrates the group’s 20th anniversary.
On the same day, the hitmaking girl group TWICE will return to the Philippines for their "This Is For" tour, set to take place at the Philippine Arena. Astro members JinJin and MJ, who recently debuted as the sub-unit Zoonizini, will host a "fan party" at the University of the Philippines Theater in Quezon City on October 11, followed by a fan-signing event on October 12.
Fans can look forward to EXO member Baekhyun's stellar vocals as he returns to Manila for his "Reverie" tour, happening at the Mall of Asia Arena on October 18.
On October 19, K-pop boy group NTX and K-drama heartthrob Ji Chang-wook will join the so-called "Nation's Girl Group" BINI for an IAM Worldwide event at the Mall of Asia Arena.
While not a concert or fan meeting, local fashion brand Bench will bring in Korean stars for a basketball exhibition game against a team of Filipino celebrities that includes "It's Showtime" hosts, a mix of Kapuso and Kapamilya actors, and local singers.
